I believe that #sharingiscaring so in case you stumble in this direction during your internet adventures, I now have offered a touch more than pretty pictures. Then peel yourself away from the screen to take a quick walk in the park.
Today we hike the Max Patch trail. It is a part of the Appalachian Trail and the Pisgah National Forest, both are major attractions for outdoorsy folks visiting or living in WNC. Depending on the path you choose at Max Patch, the moderate hike is no more than 2.5 miles.
Wander through the golden fields. Happen upon the enchanted forest for some shady downtime.
Pack a picnic. Bring your pooch. Don't forget the water.
Then say hello to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Looking for an easy breezy trail for you & your pup? Or a romantic morning stroll? A creek you can slip your feet into this summer? These can all be found at the Fletcher Community Park in South Asheville. What a gem right off of Hendersonville Rd, across the train tracks in Fletcher, NC. Enjoy.
