Rhubarb’s private event space is *the* best spot for this moody and romantic winter wedding. With about 20 guests in attendance, the space was perfect for a laughter-filled ceremony + candlelit dinner + a small dance floor to boogie off the delish food. Rhubarb is located in the heart of downtown Asheville; our mountains are stunning but might I suggest that our downtown is a dreamy and fun place for a winter event!

We began with getting ready + details at Chowning’s hotel room at The Foundry. Chowning got ready with her daughters - Madelyn and Reese.
Kevin got ready with his buddy next door in a different room.
Chowning, Kevin and I slowly walked from The Foundry to Rhubarb for the ceremony. The sun sets much earlier in the winter so we captured all of their portraits along the walk as the sun set.

Flanked by the kiddos, Chowning and Kevin exchanged vows in the private event space at Rhubarb. The ceremony space was then transformed for their beautiful reception dinner - keeping everyone indoors throughout the event which is extra nice during the winter!
