As we all know, the worldwide pandemic derailed many many wedding plans. Some postponed, some cancelled, some pivoted. Lauren and Nathan decided to reduce the guest list, keep everything outdoors and offer all the precautions (space to distance, masks, sanitizer, safe vendors) to continue with their wedding day in May of 2020.
The rain showed up for part of the day but luckily we had the covered pavilion at Olivette to shield us during the ceremony. Olivette is a beautiful newer community right on the French Broad River in Asheville. We all met after at Reverie Events in downtown Asheville to finish the evening with a delicious dinner and cake the bride's mom made! Below are my favorite moments from a very joyful afternoon in Asheville.
