I love this trend! My turn to try! I was intimidated the last two years to give this a go but it wasn't so hard and there are many many resources on Pinterest to guide you. Easter isn't really celebrated at my house but I enjoy a fun DIY project and trying new things. I planned to incorporate plant imprints but failed to find cheap pantyhose. For dye, I used tumeric (yellow), red onion skin (brown) and purple cabbage (shades of blue). I was hoping the tumeric would give me less mustard yellow and more dijon yellow but I was quite happy with the other two colors. I left eggs in for varying times to create shades. Here was my favorite Pinterest resource (although I consulted many). Read the entire article before you get started to prevent stains or other disasters! Happy Easter all, I hope you were up early hiding eggs around your yard for someone to find.
