The Douglas Ellington House is one of the most distinct wedding venues in Asheville. I’ve photographed several weddings there over the years and every one has felt very much its own.

I gathered a few Douglas Ellington House weddings here so you can see how the venue photographs across different seasons and celebrations, along with my mostly documentary approach to photographing the day as it naturally unfolds.

Morgan & Ridge

Elegant winter wedding with glimpses of Christmas cheer at the historic Douglas Ellington House. Winter weddings are less common here in the mountains but I find them to be romantic. Sweet moments with these tight knit families coming together.
